Question: What is the difference between shaving and trimming pubic hair and what are the best tools for the process?

Answer: Trimming pubic hair generally means cutting down the natural bulk of the pubic hair.

Shaving leaves the area bare of hair.

For those who are just seeking to trim down the general bulk (an act I consider to be wise), a pair of scissors, a comb, and a mirror is all you’ll really need. You can also use a battery operated beard trimmer, as long as it’s clean.

The trimmer is a better choice for trimming pubic hair because it gives a uniform length quicker and easier with out the battle of measuring like with a scissor and comb. Although no special skills are needed for trimming pubic hair, I would suggest you get a trimming kit if you plan on making it an occasional ritual.

My personal choice for trimming pubic hair is by a company accurately named Pubic Shavers Inc. The product Pubic Shaving VIP Package comes with a depilatory cream, 2 hair trimmers, stencils, a spare blade, lube oil for the trimmers and more.

You can also buy a small hair trimmer and keep it just for trimming pubic hair.

Trimming pubic hair tips:

* When using the trimmer, it would be best to apply baby powder to the area that is to be trimmed.

* If your hair is overly long, trim it down with scissors so that you can see what you’re doing.

* Don’t forget to use a mirror preferably a long standing mirror.

* Always trim with the grain of the hair first as to avoid pulling and finish against the grain.
