Question: I have medium long hair but it is very dry, I would like to go with a short hair cut but I’m afraid I won’t feel feminine; what do you think?
Answer: Long hair can be sexy, feminine and elegant. Short hair can be just as beautiful. Not all women can wear all lengths and still feel comfortable.
Short hair is popular in the executive world and in show biz, but many stay at home moms and their beautiful teenage daughters also sport the short hair look fabulously.
It really is all about what works well with you, your personality, and your life style.
Long hair has its place and it’s not without its hassles. It obviously takes longer to dry and style and it tends to get damaged easier. Short hair can be a challenging too depending on the style and cut. It is a matter of perspective. My youngest daughter has very long hair and doesn’t seem to spend any time on it other than washing it, detangle ling and letting it dry naturally which works well for her. My oldest wears her hair short and very pristine she washes and blow dries and does every thing else women do to look flawless and that works well for her; two different personalities and two totally different looks that work great. For each her own, for sure.
If you have long hair and feel the need to cut it, make sure it’s a cut that works well with your hair and personality, if your hair is damaged to the point of no return then by all means cut it. The best thing about hair is that it grows. Now a days you don’t need long hair to have long hair, that’s why weaves are so popular.
Take your hair in stride and don’t worry too much about the small stuff. Feel beautiful in your current state and be confident: it goes a long way. Personally as a man, I thank God for Women. I think they are beautiful no matter what their hair style.
