SEDU: Derives from the word Seductive. The “Amercan Beauty Supply” company makes this hair straightening iron. The vision behind this was to “Rid the world of Damaged Hair, one seductive women at a time” hence the name Sedu.

Life is grand my friends. And for us girls and boys obsessed with our hair, I have two words, FLAT IRONS; seriously, let’s think about this for a second. Way gone are the days of reluctant submission to One’s real hair: the elusive perfect hair. Any time that I want, I can get my dream hair. Whether it is by adding more, longer, beautifully styled hair, or just taking a new millennium hair styling tool to my not so perfect hair and wha-la, the perfect hair!

There are questions as to whether or not this new revolution (if you will), is much more detrimental to our hair than we realize. Which flat iron should I buy; is our eternal inquiry, eating at our curiosity and compelling us to inquire within as to make sense of it all but mostly, to save our hair day.

When we buy a straightening iron we buy IT, to obviously to achieve straight, smooth and beautiful hairstyles. But what happens if we don’t know which flat iron is best for our hair? Or worse, what if we don’t know that there’s a difference? How tragic!

Let me tell you something folks, hair product investments are like any other business investment you will make in your life; YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK! And a good iron doesn’t come cheap. I mean, at $120.00 a pop, we should make sure we’re getting the right product.
