Question: I want to grow out my bangs but I can’t stand the process, what do you recommend?
Answer: Bangs are not so hard to grow out if you have the right accessories. Clips, stylish pins and a little imagination can take you and your bangs a long way.
Here are some tips to help you grow out your bangs:
- Pin them back. Take your bangs and push them to the back resting on the top of your head, use a couple of stylish pins to hold them in place. You can poof them a little by pushing them forward before pinning.
- Split and tuck. Split your hair down the middle or the side and tuck them behind your ears; you can use bobby pins to hold them in place.
- Sweep and spray. Brush your growing bangs back when you make a pony tail or just leave the back of your hair loose and spray them with a spritz or freezing spray.
- Twist and clip: Make a part down the two sides of your bangs, twist into a tight role and clip them back. You might have to use some spray to keep the ends from popping out of the twist, try doing this style with wet bangs.
The most important thing to remember is that your bangs will eventually grow out. Be creative with your hair and don’t worry about what any body might think. Chances are that you are probably being too hard on your self and the person next to you really digs your growing bangs.
