Normally, I would never think to offer my opinion about such a thing because I don’t believe that I am qualified to do so. Every one has their own opinion and every opinion should be respected. I don’t know what relationship you had with this person or what this person thought about your hair style but I know that something or someone is making you feel uncomfortable with your hair style choice right now.

Sometimes we want to be pleasing to everyone but you know that you can’t please every one all the time. You can only listen to your own heart and use the wisdom and the courage that makes you who you truly are. If that means toning down a hair doo or staying just the way you are, you ultimately have only to please your self because you’re the one that has to look in the mirror and face your self every day.

Tragedies in our lives tend to give us a boost into the mature world and hopefully we can mature as we get older with out losing our sense of fun and uniqueness. I am willing to bet that your beloved friend cared for you because of you and not because of your hair. Listen to your heart, grieve if you must and keep your head up high.
