Answer: There are two types of hair dryer holders that cone to mind, both with two different functions. The more conventional holder or hoister is the one that you may find at a salon that hold the hand held dryers in a secure place usually on the stylist counter top or on the wall next to the mirror, some pre fabricated salon counters come with the dryer holder built in. The other, is one that I personally love. This is a free standing holder that sits on the floor or counter top and its function is to hold the dryer by the handle as to allow you to use both hands when blow drying your hair. Isn’t that just genius? A hair dryer holder that gives you the liberty to manipulate the brush or styling tool of choice while simultaneously drying your hair! If you are an avid blow dry fashionista, this one is definitely a must.

Where can I find it?

The typical holder that places your dryer securely while you dry are extremely important to have especially one that can attach to your counter top with out damaging it. Hand held dryers tend to vibrate and fall when left on and placed on your bathroom counter, (not a good thing). I saw a few types of hair dryer holders on Folica and Amazon. They go for about $7.99 used, to about $35.00 for the stainless steel ones. The free standing holder is not so easy to find although not impossible.
