Question: How do I know if and how to choose the right hair color?

Answer: When choosing a hair color, it is important to consider the depth of pigmentation in the hairs base color. Another thing that should always be considered his your skin tones and its depth. Lastly, your life style is an important factor because it will determine your availability to keep up with the color change.

    Choosing a hair color tips:

There are ten levels of colors available to the human hair but hundreds of colors with in those levels. The best and surest results will be the colors that stay within your natural range with out exceeding three levels up or down. Before making the final decision on which hair color to choose, talk to a professional about your possible choices and look at lots of pictures of celebrities.

    Beware:

However, don’t be mistaken or disillusioned by these photos. If you are of olive color skin, stick to the colors that match well with your olive skin color. Don’t go trying colors like Nicole Kidman or any other very pale skinned colored people can wear.

    Hair color must:

    1. Once you have chosen the color, do a patch test on your skin, preferably behind the ear as to make sure that your have no allergic reactions.
    2. Make sure you have the necessary time allotted for the complete process. Hair coloring can be a very time consuming event
    3. Make a color record chart or card. This is imperative for tracking procedure and results. With out this, you might find your self in a bind the next time with no road map to get out with.
    4. If you are at a salon tell your stylist about your previous colors and medication intakes. These will surely affect the effects.

I want to recommend that you always let a professional colorist color your hair. They are well trained and greatly experienced, it is by far the best choice. If doing it your self is your option, get a good product, read the instructions and follow them to the T.
